Rail Safety
MVM Rail is accredited in a number of Australian States with its primary accreditation being administered by the Independent Transport Safety and Reliability Regulator (ITSRR) under section 42 of the Rail Safety Act 2008 NSW.As a Rail Transport Operator MVM Rail's safety management system conforms to the requirements of Australian Standard AS 4292.1-7 and the National Rail Safety Guidelines developed by the National Transport Commission.
Additionally, to ensure seamless safety interfacing and coordination, MVM Rail has developed rail systems that comply with each jurisdiction in which it operates.
Quality
MVM Rail’s Quality Management System has been certified under the requirements of the AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.Occupational Health and Safety – MVM Rail‘s Occupational Health and Safety Management System has been certified under the requirements of the AS/NZS 4801:2001.
